Golden Flame - Stoney Creek

The burgers here are great. Service is quick and friendly and you can eat-in or take-out. The chevapi from our previous visit were outstanding and the salads are well made.

I truly love this restaurant; it brings back memories of Macedonia. The owners are fantastic, and the service is excellent. However, the highlight is definitely the food—it's incredibly delicious! I always go for the kebapi in a lepinja or the bacon-wrapped chicken skewer on a lepinja. You absolutely have to check this place out—it's the ideal spot for lunch or dinner any day of the week!

I am updating my previous review of this restaurant. I’ve been telling my wife about how amazing this place is, so we finally went together to try it out. We decided to order takeout for her parents and ourselves. My wife chose the Large Gypsy Burger (spicy), while her parents shared the Large Burger (non-spicy). I went for the Cevap to try something different. My wife loved her burger but struggled to finish even half of it. Similarly, my in-laws couldn’t finish their portions either. I jokingly told her dad I’d get him the Jr. size next time, perhaps even with a toy. The portion sizes are incredibly generous, making it quite a challenge to eat a whole burger. The food was very filling and absolutely delicious. The Cevap were also exceptional, rivaling some of the best in Hamilton. I’m giving this restaurant a solid 5 stars and easily placing it in the top 3 in the city. Due to Covid restrictions, they were only offering takeout at the time, and although they have a few tables for dining in, I suspect takeout is their main source of business even during normal times.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in Hamilton because my closest family friends, who are Serbian, live nearby.

I had heard some buzz about a restaurant called Golden Flame, so I decided to give it a try. I went for the large spicy burger, adding extra toppings for just $2. When I saw the homemade patty, I realized it was quite hefty. At a price of $10.99, it was definitely a challenge to finish. The burger was incredibly tasty with a great level of spiciness. It was so large that I needed a knife to cut it in half, as it was impossible to hold it as it was. The bun was wonderfully soft and delicious. If you're in the mood for something unique, I highly recommend giving this burger a shot.
