Yeah I'd give it four stars. Easy off 95 and the full suite of SBUX offerings. Only amusing part is how it's filled with fellow travelers who seemingly have never stepped foot in a Starbucks. I don't even think they are Dunkin Donuts drinkers but more like stay at home Maxwell House drinkers. No Brooklyn coffee drinker hipsters here demanding organic coffee grown in small batches by meditating monks. Super ordinary Americana. Seeing that live in action is actually novel on its own.
We stopped here on our way back from D.C. off 95. It is very clean, awesome staff and of course, good coffee. They went as far as to tell us to be safe while driving. That makes your day when you are on a journey.
My only complaint here is they don't have online ordering! This would be a real time saver when you're on the road (as probably 99% of their clientele are given that this is in a truck stop). Other than that, the line moved fast (it wasn't that busy) and my double espresso was a true double espresso! Many times Starbucks gives you 2 sips of espresso and calls it a dopio. They lie. Anyway this location has a decent amount of seating if you want to relax outside the car for a few minutes, and the product seemed good. It's a nice respite from the crappy roadside/motel coffee you're typically stuck with when driving through areas like this.
A Starbucks is usually a Starbucks and not many differences between the various locations. Located inside a gas/mini market/restaurant location, the staff here was completely ready for large crowds of travelers. All greeted each of us with a friendly Southern smile. Very clean and quick. Though when stopping at one along a major travel highways, always expect someone in front of you that has no clue what grande or venti mean, let alone familiar with ordering. Just relax and understand, that we all had our first Starbucks visit too.
