Last time I ordered, I waited at the drive-thru window while the employees cleaned the store and ignored me, causing me to leave without receiving my order. The next time, it took 20 minutes to get through the drive-thru just to get a tea. It was absolutely ridiculous. I would suggest avoiding this restaurant.
This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Tim Hortons. One of my kids has asthma and entered the restaurant without a mask on. Every server refused to serve us. I explained that we had an exemption, but even the Manager wouldn't help us. One employee even verbally attacked me, claiming that by staying in the store I was discriminating against his right to refuse service. My kids were scared by the whole situation. Unbelievable discrimination.
Why do these people insist upon having 4 people working the drive through and one working the till inside? Do the people in the line up inside deserve poorer service than those who stay in their cars and pollute the atmosphere? I go to lots of Tim Hortons, but this has to be the slowest. Stay in your cars folks, unless you want to sit in a chair to eat or use the toilet. The coffee will taste the same, but you will get through way faster.
This coffee is always the best. I truly do love Tim Hortons coffee. This location is great and convenient for me
As a long time customer of Tim Horton's restaurants I have experienced my fair share of service locations. This location is my favourite! We used to visit more frequently for breakfasts and lunches, but now with my husband's celiac diagnosis and my nut allergy the menu is simply not compatible with our needs for the most part. We still venture in often for tea or items for our children which is great, but I do wish outlets such as this better educated their staff on hygeine and allergen protacol. I realize that fast food outlets have a vast turnover of staff and it requires a great deal of retraining, but there are simple things that should be emphasized in a food service establishment. Firstly, change gloves between food service and money handling. I cannot count the number of times I have seen staff move from food prep to register and back again with the same gloves on. Secondly, wash your hands or use new gloves between orders at the till. The first person you serve could order a nutty doughnut and the second could be celiac or nut allergy getting a coffee. You handle their cup with the hand that was in the doughnut case and bam you have just made someone seriously ill. If you don't want to change your gloves that often then when a customer makes the request please don't look at them like they have just asked for a blood donation. I have days where I ask for new gloves or hand washing and the person is very accomodating and yet others where I get the eye roll and heavy sigh. I have even had instances where I get both if service is transfered from one person to another. Why should I be made to feel like a nusaince simply because I want to enjoy the few products available to me in a safe manner? To those that happily accomodated this request, thank you so much for being so considerate. To the others, I hope you never have to live with something that puts your health at risk every single day while you try to live a normal life like everyone else. To the mangement, in this day and age of serious food allergies you should make ALL staff aware of the proper courtesies and protocols involved in serving customers with these requests. I'm not lowering my rating because of these things it's the same behaviours I see at ALL locations, not just this one. This location just happens to be the best of the bunch and this is the one area where they still fall shorter than they need to. If they paid more attention to these things then they would get a higher rating from me and definitely gratitude from other's like me. I would like to give a massive shout out to an employee named Carol who has blonde hair and speaks with a British accent. Although there are many nice people at this location she really stands out! She has served me many times and she is never void of a smile or cheerful attitude. I'm sure she has the same life struggles as anyone else but you would never know it. She always gets the orders right and she is always more than happy to accomodate requests. My experience is always improved when Carol is serving! I think good service and a good attitude should be rewarded, so thanks Carol, your efforts are noticed and appreciated! Overall I would recommend this location, the food is good and the service for the most part is good too.
