The County - Stornoway

The Indian menu is apparently slightly curtailed at present as they are a chef down! It may not be extensive, but it’s **** tasty. The lamb rogan josh just melted in the mouth. The coast to coast pale ale was a great accompaniment too! ????

Rooms and management are a joke ... was punted out first night to a local guest house despite having conformation in place ... guest house was substandard .... however when eventually getting a room in the hotel the second night , it turns out the guest House was actually ok ... room was an absolute joke ... filthy ,dated ,dirty and mouldy ... single bed was like concrete and the tv was the smallest I’ve ever seen . Food on the other hand was excellent .. best I’ve had In a long time ... just hope the chief dosnt leave ... he/she is the only thing I would be back for .

Absolutely love this little bar with amazing cocktails!!! Lovely staff, had a fantastic evening here for my birthday. Look forward to introducing my family when they visit stornoway to the cocktails at the county hotel. Xxx

I had my 50th party there and it was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful when making the booking. The food was great, all my guests enjoyed their meal. Great service on the night. Many thanks to all the staff that helped make the party so successful.
