The restaurant only offers outdoor seating under an open tent, surrounded by grape vines. The atmosphere is lovely, but that is pretty much the only positive aspect of the experience. The chairs are uncomfortable folding chairs and the glasses are disposable plastic. The menu is minimal, with small pizzas priced around $20, antipasto at $16, panini at $17, and salads at $15. I ordered a pizza, but found the crust to be soggy in the middle and hardly crispy. Pizza Hut does a much better job. This issue doesn't seem to be related to virus restrictions, but rather poor management. I dined here a year ago and the food was outstanding, so it was disappointing to have such a different experience this time. We will not be returning.
While the food was v ery good and innovative to boot, the service was indifferent at best. We came in at 4PM, 2 hours before closing, but the staff was rushing us with the ordering, courses, and bill. The Pizza Bread was tasty and the Arrancini nice and filling. The Pizzas were well loaded and reasonable in size. The Fettuccine Alfredo was very rich and authentic. The local wines are interesting. Again, the service was the major disappointment.
My daughter took my husband and I for a combined Mother's and Father's Day treat. We totally enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were so kind and respectful, and made us feel very comfortable. The salad is a sharing size for 2, their Greek salad was delicious and had their own twist on it, not just a typical Greek salad. Dressing was unique and delicious. We all ordered pizza which was delicious, we shared to sample some of each other's, and all was very yummy. We noticed that other tables also got bowls of pasta to share, all were a great size. Their wine was very good, we ordered the Chardonnay which was very reasonably price. The patio is great, and they have umbrellas if the heat was to get too intense. The owner is very hands on, and checks in to make sure everyone is happy.
We stopped in one day to see it and check it out. lunch is served but only by reservation. So we made a reservation and went back the next day. We were seated outside on the lovely patio. As it was a hot day, the sun was beating on us and due to some large groups having lunch it was rather noisy. They accommodated us by moving us to the front of the building where we had quiet and shade. As we were having lunch with visitors from overseas this was much better as we could hear our conversation. The wine was superb and the food just as good. We had a great time and vowed to go back. there are no winter lunches but the winery is open. Just the other day we picked up a couple of extra bottles of red for dinner. Yum !
