Love this place! The tearooms have excellent service and good food. As for the shop..its hard not to buy something

Lovely food but grossly overpriced . Smoked salmon on slice of sourdough bread dressed with leaves , very tasty , with tea a couple of euro short of 20

Lovely food and great service nice portion sizes. Nice atmosphere. Pricey but worth it. Lovely crockery and the tea with teal tea leaves is very nice!

While this is a lovely venue and I found the cuurent staff to be very nice, I feel it is so over priced for what you get. A coffee, supposedly large, however no bigger than average, is €4.30! The most expensive coffee I have ever bought anywhere. I didn't eat lunch, however one friend had the bruschetta which was one half of a baguette with 4 pieces of mozarella and tomato for €12. I personally would not return to Straffan Tearooms because of the lack of value as feel ripped off.

Beautiful location! Great choice of food. Pleasant staff. Great selection of cakes to choose from at the takeaway spot. Good value, would recommend for a nice lunch and nice surroundings.
