Hamer's Bistro - Strahan

I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious grilled steak, roasted vegetables, and mushroom sauce. The flavors were excellent!

I visited this pub while on a road trip through Tasmania and had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the beer was great, and the pies were delicious. The highlight for me was the 70s and 80s video jukebox - I may now be known as the "ABBA-playing Pom" in Strahan. I highly recommend checking out this place, and I hear the wine selection is also impressive according to the ladies.

Quick and friendly service, not cheap but food came quick, good portions and quality. A great choice for a meal with a view (especially if you ask to sit by the window or outside) in the small but lovely town of Strahan!
