Bio-insel Stralsund

We had a stop here on the way to fight and have brot, spreads and pizza roll. came back on the way back with a pizza roll and vegan cake. I was really happy to have such a simple access to vegan food near the train station. updated by previous review on 2021-06-30

The shop is really nice and has good vegan choices. on the theke they also get vegan items, the caffe is still closed for corona reasons (5th juli 2020)

I was surprised to find an open organic cafe/bistro on Sunday in stralsund! both were good! the menu is almost complete veggie/vegan. meat is an exception. you will find this small island directly at the train station. it is open until 19 clock!

Great place if you like German old school bioplaces: they have some quite dry but beautiful pie slices and good hearty snacks like pizza rolls. attached is also a super market with many beautiful drinks and vegan food stores. one of the suppening to lunch is always vegan, the other is not (and in contrast to how this place is listed on happycow, can contain meat).

The restaurant/cafe inside the shop closes around 5 pm, but i got a vegan pizza roll from the counter, which tasted delicious. They also had some vegan or glutenfree baked goods and breads.
