Mama Bear's Den - Strasbourg

We visit this restaurant every year and it never fails to impress. It is always very inviting for our family. The food and service are both excellent!

We went for wing night and the wings were excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The bear claw with ice for dessert was also delicious. I will definitely be returning. This is a great place for families and friends to try out some of the other menu options.

From 4 items on a limited menu, not impressed! $14 for burgerfries and the bungalow was twice as big as the meat, shy! Not sure how she got such a high rating? Anyone I talked to says the same. expensive, no good value and bad customer service.

We walked from Island View to Mama Bears Den. We were greeted immediately when we walked in, seated drink order taken. We knew through Facebook that there was a live band Diamond and the Rough with happy Hour from 5-7. $10 got us live...entertainment a smokie. We had come for dinner as well, we went with the Bannock Burger. It was excellent. Got to meet Michelle and her husband, super nice people. You can tell that this is a very family oriented business and she loves all that work for her. Through chatting with Michelle we are looking forward to next weekend August 16th A Night with Elvis. Will make the small trek to come again. Thanks again Mama Bear.

The Ice cream was fine , the problem we had was the portion size. I doubt we received 2 oz of ice cream and a tea spoon of topping for $4.00. Really not very fair. The service was very slow too. There was no one...there except us and it took 10 minutes to dispense to tiny sundaes. The person serving was friendly that was a plus. Sorry Mama bear. The road out to the Provincial Park was very bad. Actually it's dangerous. Pot holes and gravel for 25 km. To bad really the Park and the beach are beautifully.
