99 Restaurants - Stratford

I don?t know what the deal is that they will now only take online orders, but it is RIDICULOUS. There are times when this is just not convenient or feasible, and much of their clientele is senior citizens who do not like or cannot access this method. They absolutely answered their phone and TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE BUSY AND TO GO ONLINE! What? I have been eating here for years and giving them tons of business (I have a huge family). No more. I hung up on them and went elsewhere. I miss Marilyn? she was the best. Bye Bye 99! ?? UPDATE: 99 Restaurant wants to know the location to discuss with me, so here is my follow up: Stratford, CT, and the follow up can be with the restaurant, their policies, procedures, and politeness. So many restaurants tanked during the pandemic. It 's loyal customers like me who kept places thriving. Chain restaurants are a dime a dozen. I am still shocked and will not return. Whoever answered the phone there blew it. Great job. I have never heard someone say, We 're a little busy. Who says that???? I am a family of 9 don 't talk to me about busy. That is YOUR JOB! Unbelievable. Work, girl. We are all busy.

Forced feed propaganda TV on every wall fixture was a unpleasant experience to an average meal... I will not be returning to this franchise... It's no wonder why the place was vacant on a Saturday night...

We ordered a strawberry martini and it tasted like straight water and looked nothing like the picture. We ordered the boneless wings and they were undercooked and just plain not good at all. The serving size for an appetizer I can tell you it wasn?t worth the $10. The worst part about it all is that this place had a bad smell when we walked in.

I hadn't been here since i was much younger kid. for some reason i always thought it was a steak place. but they actually just have a regular american menu with enough items that everyone can be happy. in fact, i'm pescatarian and vegetarian most days. and they had plenty on the menu for me moreso than most other places. they had bean burger, impossible burger, shrimp tacos, mediterranean bowl...i went after my workout with my gym squad. the shrimp tacos were a hit all around. i got the impossible burger with coleslaw. i could have used more coleslaw considering you could get coleslaw OR fries, and i'm sure it would have been ample fries, so give me ample coleslaw too! the ice team was really good. perfectly lemony and sweet enough. we had a 5yr old with us and he was happy with his chicken fingers/fries. and my 15yr old nephew tore up his cheeseburger. our server was attentive and got all the orders right. and one staff even helped us take our group photo and she got multiple angles and poses out of us, so she's HIRED! lol! i'll definitely go back here.
