The Malt Shovel - Stratford-on-Avon

I stopped at this restaurant on my way back to the South East on the M40, after a meeting in the midlands. It was the perfect stop as it's only a 5-minute drive from the motorway and easy to locate. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was served promptly.

We revisited the Malt Shovel in Gaydon for the second time after traveling around Europe in our motorhome. The owner kindly permitted us to park our motorhome in the car park for the night (make sure to call ahead to inquire). The food was scrumptious and of excellent quality.

Nice pub, we arrived shortly after 2 o'clock on a Sunday when the lunch service was to finish, the personal hesitated to order us. the food was nice and the hospitalilty was great, will return in the future
