Smallish hot chocolate and half a pint of IPA, £8.35 Won't be going back in a hurry which is a shame because it's a good location.

New enthusiastic manager and it shows. Smartened the place up, beer back on, a warm welcome, great atmosphere. A couple of fantastic events so far, attended in droves, and welll received by the village. More in the pipeline. Well done Ken.

During my family vacation, my parents and I stayed at this restaurant. I was thrilled with how well I was taken care of and how everyone I met gave me pets and attention. My name is Meg, and I'm a 14-year-old spaniel. Gavin and Ken were incredibly helpful and kind to me, and my room was lovely. There were plenty of nice walks for me to enjoy in the area. Thank you both so much, and I hope to visit again soon! Woof woof.

Awful pub, don't waste your time! Despite having four real ale taps, there was no real ale available. The staff was rude and unhelpful, they did not serve food, and apparently closed at 8pm. Even though there was a Greene King sign outside, it is not listed on the Greene King website. One of the worst experiences we've ever had and definitely would not recommend.

Just fancied a drink but the sandwiches and baguettes looked a good price so we had a ham, cheese and tomato baguette. It was sooooooo fresh and very tasty along with a delightful side salad and pop of dressing. Excellent visit!
