The Galley kitchen is beautiful. The staff is friendly, friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere is warm and the food is delicious. We'll be back. My only quibble is that the vegetarian offer is currently very limited.
We ate here a few times and the food was always excellent. A small criticism would be too much salad in the Mozzarella starter and not enough side vegetables in Moroccan lamb main course, plus the starter choice was very limited. The staff is fantastic, however, the place is in a beautiful environment, the food is beautifully cooked and very cheap. Will be back.
I celebrated my birthday with Fiends and we had a very good time. Food was amazing.
Seasonal menu so not much on it, service was polite enough but from the lack of offering us more drinks from the moment our mains came and the lack of offering desserts compared with the speed in which our plates were cleared it felt very much like they’d rather we didn’t hang around which is odd because 1. It was empty and 2. The muddy par next door which shares a toilet and a kitchen is the polar opposite. The manager (assuming it was the manager, the bald head and accent) made it extra uncomfortable to be in, felt the need to pace up and down the floor at the bar occasionally pausing to stick his hands on his hips and look around the restaurant before stomping back off to the kitchen, presumably annoyed that the customers were still there. Very odd.
