We stayed in a King Suite and it was cleaner than any hotel room I have ever stayed in. Having worked in the industry and managed housekeeping at a motel, I was very impressed with how clean and comfortable this hotel is. The funeral was at 2:00 so we had time to relax and get ready. However the room lacked coffee, sugar and Creamer and when asked for more, Carol (housekeeping brought us extra in a very timely manner. Philip at front desk was super friendly and accommodating as well. Saturday night, after a very long and emotional day, we requested more coffee as we were out and wanted at least a couple coffees in the morning before we hit the road back to Windsor and Tim (night staff went out of his way to bring us more, Everyone we encountered during our stay were very helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The ONLY problem we had was Friday night. We had spent the day driving, and at my grandmother's going through her belongings, went for dinner with my family and finally at 930pm we got back to our room. We were exhausted. We went to bed at 10:30 and was kept awake by unsupervised children running halls. This part has nothing to do with the hotel staff (except the entire housekeeping staff deserves a big raise as since know what happens with chaperones at events like this shame on all the parents. Taking your children to hockey tournaments and getting completely wasted drunk (I can't even imagine being that drunk and having to sit in an arena hungover! SUPERVISE THE KIDS!! These parents should be ashamed of themselves for their behaviour and allowing children to run rampant all night disrupts the guests who actually want to sleep. It sounded like elephants running laps above us and outside our room! Luckily I was tired enough to be able to fall asleep at a half decent time. Hoping these hockey parents/chaperones see this and give their heads a shake. I can only imagine what happens at home. Anyway, I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could, and again.... Give those housekeeping ladies a raise! They deserve it.
We have stayed here before. The breakfast buffet offered Mon. Sat. is very good. There is a reasonable variety of options on offer. The service is good and the buffet is restocked effectively. The buffet is quite reasonably priced. The experience on Sun. at breakfast is a bit different from 9 2:00. They have a 'Sunday Brunch . Although the usual Sunday Brunch offerings most places is a buffet format, here, there is a brunch menu with each choice separately priced. There is no buffet. The brunch food offerings are somewhat varied. I have not experienced this brunch format, except here. There is, apparently, the regular breakfast buffet on offer from 7:00 9:00. Even though the room rates are quite high, this is the first BW hotel, of many we have styed at, both here and in the U.S., that do not have a complimentary breakfast included.
Comfy beds , good breakfast , messaging confirmation. Many staff have been there a long time. Glad they weathered the pandemic
A charming, professional and wonderful hotel to stay while in Stratford. I highly recommend the rooms, the staff and the hotel. Such a clean and beautiful hotel.
Read my review under hotel, they just upgraded the menu this year and it is even better! Always good service, good, hot comfort food, now elevated to gastro pub level. This is the ONLY place I will go out to eat in the whole of Stratford. My favourite for years!
