Mercer Kitchen Beer Hall - Stratford

I visited the Bacon and Ale Trail and stopped by this restaurant, but I was quite disappointed. After sitting down, I was completely ignored for over 10 minutes. Even though many staff members walked by, none of them offered us any service. It’s a shame because the menu looked intriguing, and I would have considered returning; instead, we ended up spending over $100 at another place down the road. To be completely overlooked was just unacceptable. We eventually decided to leave, and not a single person spoke to us during our time there. I’m genuinely shocked by this experience, as I’ve never been treated this way before and usually receive better service even at fast food restaurants.

The food was mediocre. We ordered the fried chicken dinner based on recommendations from others, but the portion was small considering the high price. We had to wait quite a while before we could place our initial order, although the service improved after that.

I stopped by for a quick meal and a coffee, but things took a turn due to a minor medical emergency. Fortunately, everyone came out okay in the end. The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding throughout the situation. I will definitely be returning!

We celebrated our anniversary on Saturday with dinner. It was our first visit. The food was delicious and our server was friendly. The nachos with crispy chicken were the best nachos we’ve had in a long time. We had the Korean Crispy Chicken Rice Bowl and the Tokyo Cioppino. Both delicious!

My friends and I had a fabulous time having dinner at Mercer Hall. The food was delicious and our server was fantastic! I personally have dietary needs and they were more than happy to accommodate. Excited to go back!!
