Contribuisci feedbackThe service was excellent when we visited on Saturday, but there was a noticeable difference in the staff on Sunday during breakfast. Upon entering the restaurant, we found dirty tables with full plates on them, which was disappointing considering this is a 4-star hotel.
Diet Koks was flat, garnish was missing the plate, asked about vinegar and we never got it, fish at the tail end was over boiled and could not eat it, lemon tart and raspberry sorbet was the highlight
After Monday night was not much hope. The food improved and we had very nice meal. Could do with a choice for side with fish chips, i.e. garden peas instead of muddy peas.
The food was mostly underwhelming on Monday evening. Cauliflower starter was very good and plenty for two people to share. Main course vegan burgers were overcooked and somewhat tough. The chips and all the things that came with the burgers were good. Deserts were not as advertised. Cheescake came with sorbet instead of cream, as advertised on the menu. The cheeseboard came without blue cheese (and no explanation or apology) and no knife to cut the other cheeses.
Waitress was lovely but was new and felt like she had been thrown in at the deepend abit
