The Trout Trivet - Strathcona

The trout and trivet ensured a small family-proof outdoors for us to house, and that was amazing (at least as good as the best restaurants in vancouver). local, fresh ingredients combined with creativity and talent. the menu includes baked oysters, house made pasta, and lingcod with roasted vegetables. their crew was attentive to social distancing and other security protocols, and the service was impeccable.

Cheeseburger was delicious, samosas are devin! a complimental cookie that should eat sohn was also amazing?

We made a reservation for our rehearsal dinner, but they canceled on us three weeks before because they decided to give the reservation to someone else the day before! Very disappointing and frustrating!

I was so impressed by the lunch panini at the coffee pod that I decided to come back for dinner at the larger food truck. I had the pork Banh Mi and it was fantastic! It was just as good as our favorite Vietnamese restaurants back home and they were very generous with the filling. It was one of the tastiest meals we had during our trip!

The food here is super good and never a let down in terms of quality. We enjoyed meals here a few times this summer. I would have to say it is overpriced and it would be nice if sides were included with the mains. One other comment would be the staffing don't much care for the attitude and the wait times are often too long due to a single person cooking/taking orders which results in us taking our business elsewhere.
