Bakersfield Penn Ave - Strip District

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Bakersfield Penn Ave! In all honesty, I actually tried to make a reservation at another nearby taco place first and they completely dismissed the idea of a large party even with 6 months of advanced notice. So in a slight panic I found this location, and from that first phone call they were nothing but helpful. They welcomed the idea of a large party, and got me in contact with there events person. I was able to email her with the details, and was easily booked for a party of 20 online. I continued to ask questions about dietary restrictions and our seating location in the months leading up to our event, and she was always helpful and responsive. The night of our event I roll up dressed in costume with a huge bag of goodies for a friends surprise party, the staff was on board and even hyped us up as each guest in a different costumes arrived. Our server, Mike, was amazing and even got into character wearing orange sunglasses which were our party favors. He took such good care of all of us, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The best part was he bought the birthday boy a shot after he arrived! It was an incredible experience all around, everyone in our group was satisfied and I can't thank the staff enough for embracing us! Dietary restrictions: I had a few friends who needed vegan and nut free options, the staff was quick to answer our questions about what items on the menu could be made with substitutions.

Great place to with friends and enjoy quality food. Spent time with good friends and enjoyed the visit. Our waitress was so busy we waited exceptionally long for the check. Went to bartender after an hour

Bakersfield is a go to in the Cultural District. Always delicious tacos and margaritas! Vegetarian options: A couple vegetarian taco options. Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten intolerant dietary restriction.

Taco Tuesday!!! Reduced price on all tacos, of which they have some great combinations! Also, try the chips with the trio of salsas. Green, red, and an orange that all had unique flavor and spice levels!

Shared some apps and had a couple of tacos to end a long day of work. Great food, good atmosphere and delicious spicy marg! Definitely worth checking out for some tacos and drinks if on the area
