Horrible/inedible food. Old/inedible bread, old/inedible bacon, horrible chicken special. Food used to be edible there, but it has been inedible for the last few months (n=4 in the last 2-3months). Hope things change soon.
Unfortunately no vegetarian main course on their dinner menu, even though there is one on their online menu.
The Cafe Carnegie is located inside the Carnegie Museum of Art. The menu lists foods such as deviled eggs, salads, sandwiches, gnocchi, crepes, chicken, halibut, steak, and almond torte. Beverages include coffees, sodas, beers, cocktails, and wines. The dress code is casual.I ate lunch here one time. I had made a reservation online. The seating hostess and the waitress served me promptly and politely. My butternut-squash soup, mushroom focaccia, and lemonade tasted good.
Meh. The burger was well done with no option to cook to the desired temperate (which is only a good idea if we are talking about a fast food joint). Ice cream in the affogato was frost bitten. Idk, the food was just not worth the price.
