Ate at uncle Sam's after a long time, wasn't disappointed. The ultra mushroom philly was fresh and tasty... Served with some of the best fries I've ever had. Surely will be back for more

As a person who cares about others’ safety, I must say something: I cooked here for a few months and the sanitation and food handling standards are very poor. 1. Employees handle raw chicken and beef then go right to handling finished food “ready to eat,”without changing gloves. The grill handles all proteins in various states of cooking at once and uses the same utensils to cook a half done chicken sandwich from frozen and then scoop a fully cooked steak sandwich into a ready to eat bun. I was told that scraping the utensils together takes care of the cross contamination of germs by management. The whole place goes against everything I’ve learned in Serve Safe classes, and nobody there is even certified to be handling this type of food to my knowledge. All you need to do is take a seat at the bar and watch the cooking process to know this is all true. I’m not sure how they can morally stand what they are doing until you hear how they talk about their own customers. Enjoy ?

If you are eating here watch your feet and food. Worked here for two years they didn’t change anything. Mice were running over meat and chicken. They hide in the booths you sit in and poke their head out. One time there was mice in the steak bin running around and going to the bathroom on the steaks and no one did anything. A MANAGER dug a bag of bread out of the dumpster and served it to the customers after I repeatedly told him that’s not safe at all. This place went very downhill after all the good workers who were there realized they don’t wanna work with awful people or even be apart of what they are doing to customers. The manager Shawn is having intercourse with a young girl there and they go to giant eagle bar every break and come back drunk every shift. The owner RON doesn’t even do anything about their actions and yes he is informed he is just lazy. He messed with paychecks and hours before not caring. Would rate this place a -1000 if I could.

I 've never been to Uncle Sam 's before, nor have I ever heard of it. But after my first time visiting them today, I see why. It wasn 't very busy in there, so I have no idea why the cashier was so cold and rude. We told her we wanted our food to-go . But she made our order for dine-in and she denied that we told her that. She shrugged her shoulders, rolled her eyes and shook her head saying no . That convo turned into a back and forth between her and my family. Next thing you know she tells the cooks to take our fries away since we arent dining-in! I didn 't know Uncle Sam 's came with so many rules and such rude cashiers. All the time this was going on, the manager just ignored the whole thing because we asked for him and he kept his back turned towards the grill continuing to cook. We didn 't catch the cashiers name but she has a nasty attitude towards her customers.
