After picking up our order, we noticed that they had made a mistake with my husband's dish. He had ordered the same meal just a few days ago without any issues. When he called to address the error, they eventually agreed to remake the dish after a lengthy discussion. However, when he arrived to pick it up, they refused to offer any credit for the inconvenience and didn't even apologize for their mistake! In my opinion, this is not how you should treat customers, especially loyal ones who have supported your business for so long. Unfortunately, we will now be searching for a new restaurant to frequent.
On our most recent visits, we've found that the chicken used in dishes like Orange Chicken and General Tso’s has been replaced with a cheap, bread-heavy frozen product that is no better than something you’d find at the grocery store. The sauce for the orange chicken lacks flavor, needing more citrus, some heat, and acidity to truly shine. Additionally, the lo mein noodles are consistently overcooked and mushy, and even the white rice has been served wet and muddy. With automatic rice cookers available, there’s simply no excuse for underwhelming rice. On a positive note, the Pork Egg Rolls were decent after an initial period of being subpar. However, we've noticed a concerning trend—our orders now seem to be prepared in under 10 minutes. While speed and convenience can be appreciated, it raises a red flag about the freshness of the food; it often feels like it might have been sitting around, reheated just before serving, which would explain the overcooked items we’ve encountered. We’ve also observed price increases, which are somewhat to be expected in today’s economy. Yet, such price hikes shouldn't coincide with a drop in food quality. It appears that many Chinese restaurants are cutting corners nowadays, and unfortunately, this place seems to fall into that category. It’s disheartening to recall how enjoyable this restaurant used to be just a few years ago.
The food was satisfactory, but the shouting coming from the back of the restaurant really spoiled my experience. It seemed like there was an argument happening, which made me feel uneasy as a paying customer.
They used to be my favorite Chinese takeouts. Last time, I'm so disappointed! Chicken under boiled and chicken broccoli isn?t even chicken and broccoli! They began to add paprika, mushrooms and carrots in CHICKEN BROCCOLI! Why? Why would you screw it up? I was soooo disappointed with my $25 dinner. I gave them too many chances and it gets worse and worse. I'm done! I'm a chicken broccoli pick and judge as it looks. Yes!
As an uber driver just found this place. Tired of the fast food chains. Gave it a try and the food was good.pretty sure i showed up at close and they still served me. So props for that. I havent eaten chinese in awhile and couldnt decide what i wanted the lady at the front helped me make that decision. Only reason im not giving it 5 stars is cuz they should probably clean the front window where u order. Bugs stuck in there.
