My wife and I frequently go to Lorraine's ever since it opened. Great food and good size portions all coming with a reasonable price anyone can afford.I've tried many menu items all come with a homemade taste. You don't get can tasting soup here...Only homemade. You gotta try the deep fried pickles...Try it once and you'll be hooked! Service is great with a friendly atmosphere.
We went in for lunch and the food was awesome! It didn't take long to get and the service was great!!
We have eaten here several times. The decor is simple, nothing fancy. At lunch time, the place is full, and at times hard to get a table. The food is home cooked, so it may take a little longer to get your meal than in a chain restaurant, but the food is far superior to chain restaurants. The wait staff is friendly, and the menu is reasonably priced. If you did not know that this place is here, you would drive by it as it is hidden behind a bakery on Hwy 17. If you are driving East, turn right at the bakery just after crossing the bridge over the Sturgeon River. You won't be disappointed!
Stopped here on the way from Sudbury. My buddy took me there. We had Brunch, so ordered an omelette. I ordered their Mexican, and was completely surprised as it was really good. It had lots of flavor, and there was lots of it, Rye toast was also really good. Lots of room, your not crowded at all, The price was awesome as my buddy picked up the tab......so that great for me.
