Savory/cosmo's - Sturgis

Best breakfast skillet ever! Typical small town cafe/diner. I am not surprised they don't have a gluten free selection. The skillets are large. You can definitely split one if you are so inclined. Parking lot was packed. Waitress was friendly. Service was good. Just off the highway to the north. 4 stars based solely on the skillets we had.

I wondered why the clientele was primarily elderly...then I tasted my food. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak skillet and it was the blandest thing I've ever eaten aside from white rice. Ditto my wife's omelet. I've lived in Sturgis for 13 years and this is only the second time I've eaten at the Savory. There's a reason for that.

Ive gave this place chance after chance just cuz its my home town breakfast joint but this last time was my finale straw ill happily drive to three rivers or Howe to get a good breakfast we waited over 45 mins for r food and when we got r food i got just my breakfast not my gfs then the waitress said nothing to her just walked away walked over to another table ask the man the was eattin my gfs food do you want me to have them remake your food , said nothing to us and my food was cold so we got up offered to pay for drinks was told we didint have to pay and we left horrible horrible horrible service like always I've never had a good breakfast 0 out of atleast 10 times

Very pleased with this restaurant. We were traveling 15 hours to Wisconsin and decided to stop in Howe, IN for the night. The check in lady at our hotel told us to give the restaurant a shot. Keep in mind, we were 14 people. The wait staff was friendly and quick. The food was reasonable priced and very good. I can't say enough good things about the quality of food and service.

Three of us had lunch ordering three different meals. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly . Everything from start to finish was excellent . The food was very good, our waitress was a sweetheart and our bill was right in line for lunch for three people. We will definitely go here again .
