Restaurant Sultan Saray - Stuttgart

One of taxi drivers adviced us to wisit them and it was really worth to stay for a dinner. Try sultan kebab. Its environment is decorated more like half turkish half arabic style.

The people who work at the Sultan Saray are great. I wish it's was like that everywhere. The menu is excellent and the selection of Turkish wines very interesting. I would really like to give them a much better rating, but the cooking was very poor by Turkish standards. Like other foreign restaurants it seems to cater to the Germanic taste for soggy, gravy and plenty of salad dressing from a plastic bucket and dull. My advice. It has everything to be at least very good... but cook proper Turkish food.

Did not manage to go here without a booking. Place is always busy with locals. Food is very good but comes out fast. Excellent service too. Waiters speak good English.

We visited the restaurant after reading the reviews here and I must say it was the best turkish meal we have had in Germany. The price is quite reasonable and the waitress was very friendly. We had Chicken and Lamb dishes which were both well cooked and bursting with flavours. The accompanying boiled veggies were also flavourful which was quite a treat to our taste buds. Loved the place and will definitely revisit next time we go to Stuttgart.

My friend recommended and took me "Restaurant Sultan Saray". Food was excellent and reasonable price. Waitress were very friendly and brought blanket since we were sitting outside and were a little bit cold. I loved and enjoyed the COLD beer!
