Ristorante Mezzogiorno - Stuttgart

Dined here for dinner when visiting with friends in Stuttgart. Centrally located but tricky to find as the restaurant is situated behind a gasoline station and adjacent to a park so visibility is limited. Large space inside and outside. Interior walls open to allow al...fresco dining under cover and large outdoor terrace has giant market umbrellas. We dined outdoors on a very nice evening. Menu is Italian and the food is delicious. Service can be a bit slow when busy, but always with a smile

Good always good quality. Good selection of wine and good preparation of the glasses. Tables are in general not too closed to each other giving a little bit of privacy

I reserved a table for five on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered bruschetta thick slices of toasted bread deeply soaked in the juice of a few sliced tomatoes. The worst I ever had. The same for the pasta with sea fruit very few...sea fruits on top of pasta with nothing else no sauce, no taste!. Really good were lamb with lentils a delight to the palate but very expensive with regard to the size of the portion vitello tonnato thinly sliced veal accompanied by a sauce with tuna taste very tasty. The desert was good I’d recommend the white chocolate mousse with lemon zest

Went there for a business lunch. I had a simple pasta from the menu of the day. The salad included was killed with too much balsamic vinegar and consisted of a few leaves of green. The pasta, which came after a min. wait was...cold as were the chicken pieces that kind of decorated the dish. The desert tiramisu was OK but also not very outstanding. On top of that you have to deal with a waiter who pretends to speak only Italian. Of course he understands German or English but when you ask for something his ears turn numb. Magically when you ask for the bill, he suddenly understands you. Would not go there again

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening here recently. The food was very good. The service was excellent. For me, it was difficult to find this restaurant. It's right behind the AGIP Gas Station. There must be another entrance, but I couldn't find it. I just walked...around to the lovely garden terrace and entered through there
