The location is good and the restaurant decoration is very nice with various pictures of the Toscana, Italian artists and of course the beautiful Pontevecchio in Firenze. However, the Cucina was disappointing as they do not have the taste. my guest had a Gnocchi a la Romana and spaghetti Putanesca and I went for the Risotto al Carciofi. Gnocchi were prepared as a potato pulp and even the taste was good that Gnocchi himself lacked. Spaghetti were boiled and not nr 5 as safe. The Sugo was ok and the rest of the topping. The risotto was not risotto and not as the waiter assured me that Arborio will be. The taste was missing and had to be improved with Peperoncini e pepe. As a starter, we had a pizza, another disappointment for me. Topping was good, but dough and taste of it was totally bad. my guest was happy with the food, but must mention that they do not know the real Italian taste. Not recommended to anyone who knows the real Italian Cucina.
My husband and I are conossieurs of thin crust in Bogota, and this is by far the best (our other favorite is Juan del Mar). Ambiente is cozy, but unfortunately it is often empty.
