Legends Ale House - Succasunna

The food was overcooked and tasteless and took 90 minutes to make it a table. The restaurant wasn't busy. If it wasn't for the beer menu, I would have gone earlier. I'll get NIE back.

We had a straightforward dinner on Saturday. As anticipated, everything was good. The ribs were not the best, perhaps too fatty, but everyone else enjoyed their duck dishes.

Eating was good, our server was great. Very attentive and could not have been more patient/helpful with 2 toddlers at the table. It was loud, but it was during the 4:30 NFL games, so we didn't expect anything else. Go back.

We made a reservation for a party of 5 on a Friday night at 7pm. We were promptly greeted and seated. We ordered a flight of beers while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. When they did, we ordered a child's meal, appetizers, and our entrees. We requested that the child's meal come out quickly. Despite ordering more beers, refills were slow to come. Our salads were served along with our entrees, but the child's meal and appetizers were never brought out. We eventually received a refill on our beers and the child's meal, which was a child's pizza, came out after our entrees. We informed our waitress about the missing appetizers and she took them off the bill. The scallops meal I ordered was good, though I wished there were more scallops. My husband enjoyed his beer chicken and the other couple liked their scallops and sandwich. We decided to skip dessert due to the slow service. The atmosphere was pleasant and we appreciated the TVs showing sports. The beer selection was also impressive. The manager came to our table to address our concerns and made a small adjustment to our bill. We understand that the restaurant is still new and are willing to give it another chance.

First time here and will be back! Had the fried pickles (good), the Margherita Pizza (very good), and the cookies & flight of milk - which was amazing.
