Spent a very pleasant afternoon celebrating my grandsons 16th birthday here. The organised a great buffet were very attentive with the drinks. Location is within Sudbury there is nearby street parking. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

After getting engaged last year, I was feeling a little disheartened that we wouldn 't be able to afford our 'perfect ' day. Until we met Tracy and her fab team... My mum and I had High Tea at Painters for the first time in January, and we were totally blown away by the food, service and value for money! We spent that evening drooling over their catering menu, and a few weeks later, we contacted Tracy and booked our special day. Just 6 months later, we celebrated our wedding and had the most perfect day. Painters were able to cater for our every need; we hired the venue for the afternoon/ evening, which included arrival drinks, High Tea with our immediate loved ones and an evening buffet/ party with our extended guests. The attention to detail, yummy food, service and relaxed atmosphere was spot on, and everyone throughly enjoyed themselves. The pub itself is so quirky and lovely, and the garden... well Tracy told us they were going to decorate it nicely for the summer, and she did not disappoint!! It was beautiful!!! Thank you all so much for all the hard work and efforts that went into making our day everything we could 've wished for. Lovely little former pub now restaurant in the heart of the delightful town of Sudbury. Food and drink was very good and service was friendly and timely. I'd love to return. Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great value
