Paani Indian Cuisine - Sudbury

This place is a gem. They spoiled us for Indian food no other place around here can satisfy. The food is consistently prepared well and the flavors are bold and interesting. Plus, the owner is super nice. We eat here at least once a month.

We visited Paani last Saturday for their lunch buffet. The buffet was mediocre and not very authentic in taste. The food, particularly the Paneer, was bland. There was also a limited variety in the buffet spread. However, we give it 2 stars for the friendly service and convenient location of the restaurant.

The food at Paani has always been excellent! I visited when they were located on Route 20 in Sudbury. The flavors are delicious and the portion sizes are generous, leaving plenty for leftovers.

I don't even know where to begin. We were seated promptly, but then waited over 30 minutes for someone to take our order. The hostess came over and insisted we give her our spare chair for another table, even though our purses were on it. She rudely told us to put them on the floor or window sill, which was not an acceptable option. The waiter refused to split our bill properly and only offered to "half it". The food was delicious, but the service was absolutely terrible. I have only been in the area for a few months, and will definitely be looking for another Indian restaurant to dine at.

Excellent buffet of delicious Indian food with no food coloring. Fresh and savory. The atmosphere is clean and modern with tables and booths.
