He went back inside and asked kindly if they could put some basil since it was missing, the girl on the counter said the basil was under the cheese. When I started eating the pizza I noticed there was NO basil! Very disappointed! How can they serve a marguerita pizza with no basil????
This is unfortunately a very inconsistent restaurant. Half of the time the pasta is over cooked, not a realistic ratio of sauce:pasta, they just completely have their own interpretation of an online order submission and/or their drivers don't acknowledge the delivery instructions. After 2.5 years, I’m not ordering from them ever again.
They got rid of breakfast. Saturday mornings... And now. After 10 years with returning here. There pizza still looks like a 5 yr old made it. Pepperoni needs to me cooked fully. Not placed on the pizza and thrown in oven for 1-3 mins.... why. Its greaser. Omfg this pizza is greaser. Then Dominoes pizza. Holy sh1t. Dominos is still better then most of the pizza joints in sudbury. Why.... unknown. Price for 2 slices and a soda. You can get a small pizza across the street. Maybe they need to changer there name. To the Wine Cellar. Because thats all you see. When in restaurant. LOL.
We've only ever gotten takeout from here, but the staff is always friendly, and everything we've ever ordered has been good--my wife especially loves their Chicken Pesto Panino sandwich, and I'm a fan of their calzones and the steak cheese. More than just a pizza place, their menu is pretty large and includes various pasta dishes as well as grilled items like salmon and steak tips. With reasonable prices and a more relaxed, casual vibe, it's definitely a solid option if you're craving Italian food but don't want to get dressed up or pay out the nose for it.
Rossini’s has been struggling with consistency for some time now. One pie will have a base that is soupy, swimming in olive oil and raw in the middle, next time it’s dry, crunchy and like cardboard. Sad, since their flavor is so good. We’ve been ordering delivery pizza from Rossini’s for at least a decade now, but questioning if we need to look elsewhere. They really need to get their act together and strive for a consistent product for us to remain loyal. Good luck, Rossini’s! You get one more try.
