I had a basic breakfast at this restaurant and it was delivered exactly as requested. The hash browns were outstanding. The place was clean and not crowded.
The restaurant charges almost $16 for just two eggs, two slices of bacon, toast, and a piece of orange. It's a very expensive breakfast, especially considering it doesn't even come with home fries or any additional sides.
The food was tasty, but the wait was quite long. Unfortunately, one special order was incorrect, but we chose not to make a fuss. Our server was amiable, great with children, and accommodating of our needs. Children under 12 can eat for free when accompanied by an adult staying at the Holiday Inn.
I typically don't have much luck with hotel restaurants and I'm always appreciative when I find a decent one that is actually attached to the hotel I'm staying at! The menu is a bit pricey, but I don't mind as it's so convenient. The decor is nice, with a contemporary feel, but is also quite relaxed. The servers have been friendly, professional and knowledgeable with regards to both the menu and helpful with information about the surrounding area. I've had the risotto, and while it wasn't spectacular, it sure beats most other hotel restaurants. I've also had the burger which I believe was an elk burger(? which was very nicely seasoned and lean. Overall, each of my visits has been quite pleasant.
