Not so, today. Dinner was a disaster. I was told it was a couple of dollars if I wanted bacon included in the dish. It used to be included, but no more. When did a couple become $3.50? Even though it was called maple ravioli , there was no maple in the sauce whatsoever. What was included was salt, more salt, and more salt again. The first bite wasn 't bad but I felt sick by the last. I drank the whole bottle of water on the table. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, the waitress did not come by until we were done with our meals. I was given a discount that worked out to $2.50, if you took off the extra charge for the previously included bacon. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
I have been to this restaurant several times for lunch and have always been pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. The pizzas and other menu items are excellent. While I have not been for dinner, I highly recommend this restaurant as a great spot for lunch, whether it be for a casual meal or for business purposes.
Welcome? Friendly, animated, welcoming. Service? A+ Taylor was a first rate server. Efficient, helpful, friendly, animated and provides smiles for miles. Food? Delicious X 2 very happy customers. Highly recommend mushroom gnocchi and pasta Alfredo. And baked Brie. And Crème Brûlée. So good! Taylor was Awesome! Note to Managers: if you inform her of this review, please quote “Awesome” and “!” We’ll be back!
We went to Ripe for a birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. We were seated in a cozy corner booth near the kitchen. We started with elderflower bellinis and goat cheese skillet with locally made sourdough, both of which were delicious. The local trout was fresh and lightly seasoned, and the lamb gnocchi was outstanding - we're still dreaming about it two days later. Our server recommended wine pairings that complemented our dishes perfectly. For dessert, we had a chocolate oblivion from their sister restaurant, Pinchman's. The service was excellent, the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. We were not rushed at all and were able to savor every part of our meal. Overall, it was an incredible evening and we will definitely be returning.
For years, we drove past this location without realizing there was a great restaurant inside. Don't be put off by the street view. The menu is diverse, intriguing, and affordably priced. Our meals were delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and the service was excellent. We will definitely return.
