Romantik Freiwerk - Suedharz

This summer, the Hotel Freiwerk was the venue for our personal dream wedding. After half a year of intense search for the right location, we finally found them with the Hotel Freiwerk in Harz. From entering to leaving the hotel we felt incredibly comfortable. Not only the view from the terrace is invaluable, but also the food is pointed, the service is super friendly, courteous and attentive without being noticeable: in quality nowadays no longer self-evident! The rooms have a very good mix of modern and cozy. Both the days and nights we spent in preparation at the hotel and the wedding went smoothly, not least by commemorating the service team, which responded perfectly to short-term changed circumstances without having to suffer stress. We as a bridal couple were really able to sit back, enjoy the weekend and devote ourselves to our 50 guests. We are happy to come back, at the latest to our first wedding day. Anyone who has something to celebrate will find the perfect location with the Hotel Freiwerk. Top food! Top service! Top atmosphere! Wrong evacuation given over the price! At the end it was €1550 for 2 nights instead of €470. Before you wish to confirm a reservation, you should be sure about the price or not give false information. Really disappointed by such an allegedly great hotel. This hotel is not available again! Be careful!

Restaurant Twenty again for the third time! The Christmas buffet left nothing to be desired. In a relaxed atmosphere we could pamper our palates. Great service. Thank you.

Beautiful panoramic hotel! Familiary flair! Significant attentive service especially the lady who prepares breakfast with its great specialties! The cook comes to the tables and collects his feedback personally. Very nice. We can only recommend hotel and restaurant and come back.
