Suffolk Bbq Co

It's a dive, hole in the wall place. But I like that sort of thing. I go places and generally ask for lemon in my sweet tea, and if I actually get it, the never give any more. well the young lady brought me 3 in a small bowl the first time around. I know that sounds stupid, but that's something I like.

First time in downtown Suffolk and happened upon Suffolk BBQ Co at lunchtime. I have long lamented the lack of good BBQ in Southeast Virginia but this place has restored my faith. I am a BBQ snob and this place is GOOD. Highly recommend. Bonus: friendly owner and staff. Owner recognized that I was a new face and asked me what I thought, thanked me and shook my hand. I will be back!

Wow. I lived in Suffolk for over 3 years and had not tried this place. Shame on me! The food and the service are fantastic! We had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich with onion rings and coleslaw. All were great. I had the Smoky pork BBQ Nachos grande!! Awesome. Loved every single bite and each was loaded with goodness. Can't wait to go back!

The staff there are very polite. The food was delightful and very good. This is a good barbecue place if you live in Suffolk and want some good barbecue go here. They also answered all my questions I had about a hot dog and I was craving for and I thought that was very nice of them. My favorite is the chicken oh my omg it is delicious.

Food is always delicious and staff is friendly. My favorite dish is the brisket platter. The boiled shrimp is good too. I love the sauces.
