The Anchor - Suffolk Coastal

Nice food, good service. I had the vegetarian filled aubergine main course and my man had suffolk swarm that he said was the best he had. good wine selection, we chose a beautiful Lebanese red wine. it was a quiet Friday night when we left. the chef came out to chat with diners at the end of the meal we liked.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, interesting menu with a list of specialties. we chose the cod fritters spiced cauliflower with granatapfel and duck breast with jus pomegranate and game suet pudding with port jus for net. all were excellent. we left room for Turkish delight ice cream in a tulle basket (not resist) and rice pudding with lemon curd. both new to our taste buds, not too sweet and perfect end to a wonderful meal. the owner chef ugur spoke ewer to chat with us early birds and asked us what we thought of our eating. wonderfully natural. we will soon return with friends.

From outside, very busy with drinking, great atmosphere. the personal is welcoming and dog-friendly. we had a good size whitebait to begin and we polished off. I had the chicken sanctuary and my son had mini steak, we were very satisfied with the quality of the food. a pint of ale is less than £4 that is in woodbridge area, no wonder there are many drinkers. will definitely return.

Visited for a snack and a beer gave the place a 2nd chance, as before I and another customer was waiting on the bar to place an order, but unfortunately no personal view, so I did not give up on the land elsewhere what the other guy did. so was convinced to try again very disappointed. some workers had to really cry while a kerl wood has been more to house in fawlty towers. I and my partner ordered the fish finger sandwich and a chicken battle both fought to be moderate and were much overpriced. only positiw was that bes was pretty good.

Was here a lot. eating is always excellent, as well as the service and the personal very pleasant and thanks us for coming! it was a joy. P.s the desserts are amazing!
