Last visit was spoilt by dog owner that (seemingly) couldn’t understand why the constant barking of one of her two dogs might not be enjoyable or am I unusual in not liking constantly barking dogs? (This was outside).
Four Adults two children, first visit, nice spot, good food plenty of choice, good service, clean and tidy . Easy to spend a relaxing few hours at Landguard Peninsular will visit again. Plenty of inexpensive car parking, very popular venue
This is definitely a cafe with a view. Watching 22000 containers being loaded onto one of the world’s biggest container ships. Watching another massive ship leave port. Who knew this could be so interesting?!? We were informed, upfront, of a 30 minute wait for food. We had fish and ships and croque madame, which were both good. The team are excellent, very cheery efficient and we never felt under pressure to move from our table, despite finishing eating, so that we could watch the boats. Thankyou!
Visited here on a wet morning with my wife and parents. Had been recommended by a mate. We had a table overlooking the beach and crane terminal. But no ships were in. My dad and I went for Croque Madame’s and the ladies had the Croque Monsieurs. Delicious cheese and ham. Tea and coffee good as well. Unfortunately they had run out of toasted tea cakes so my mum was out of luck. Good service and menu
Here again for the 2 for 1 offer when we visited Felixstowe. Vegan sausages chips and beans- very good all around with excellent chips. It was a Friday and the fish and chips were coming out of the kitchen which is open plan- very clean and nice to see the chefs at work. Lovely to see the massive ships being unloaded and loaded- this really is a very special place to visit.
