The menu was vast and several items that are my go to orders so we will be back. Service was acceptable and they tried hard in the short staffed world we are currently in. We tried the cheese curds, not quite the mid-west experience I was hoping for. The buffalo nuggets were interesting. The philly was as expected. Plenty of parking, lots of food choices and the price was a value.
Bar staff was excellent. Potato chips were yummy. Asian salad was missing cabbage in description but was good. There seemed to be a lot of regulars who spoke highly of the place.
If you want to grab some pub food this is a great place. The staff is always super nice, food is good and the atmosphere is fun.
Let’s just say this place doesn’t deserve a star at all. Maybe a negative star rating. After reading the glowing reviews we decided to drive 45 min to try it on Sunday. Not very busy for 130pm on a Sunday. Now I know why…… First we order 2 beers…. Ok not bad. 2nd my husband ordered a burger and fries “medium well” ok not hard you would think. Burger came out half well done other half medium guess that’s medium well for them) bun was stale and the meat tasted old. 3rd I ordered the Charleston chop-choo excited) with sweet potato fries. Fries were hot and good. Started in on the sandwich which tasted great. But the Bun was stale so I opted to deconstruct it and just eat the good part until………. I found some type of flying bug roach family) in the sandwich. Immediately I went to the bathroom to vomit. When I came back out food was gone but our beer was not. Got up to leave and the bartender said we had to pay for the beer we barely drank. If there is a bug IN ya food why do you think we want to pay for the beer. Are you kidding me..??? If I hadn’t took the sandwich apart I would have never found that grossness. We will never go back, even if it’s for alcohol. Beware of the reviews they are not always true.
The summits have long been popular with me. The food, service and the environment are consistent and I know exactly what kind of experience I will get. I was for myself for lunch and large groups for dinner and the experience was always great. The garlic fries are a must!
