I've never tried their burgers, sandwiches, or platters because the Mediterranean dishes are simply too good to pass up! Everything from the Tabouleh to the Kofta platters is outstanding. I particularly love the Falafel Plate, which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I just wish they offered a mixed appetizer platter with all the selections; I would happily make that my meal. The owners and staff are also very friendly.
The sign indicating that they’re closed on Saturdays and Sundays was not updated. I went there for dinner and found the door unlocked, but there was no one at the counter. I had to walk around the corner to find someone to assist me, and when I did, two guys were just chatting and informed me that they were closed. I suggested they update their sign and maybe lock the door after hours. It might not seem like a big deal, but I had my mom with me in her wheelchair, so it made things difficult. Thanks, but I won’t be coming back. #happymothersdayweekend #poorpeopleskills
I came across Red Oak Grill one day while heading to a meeting and decided to stop in. Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The woman at the register was exceptionally kind and patient, taking the time to answer all my questions, of which I had quite a few. I ended up ordering a veggie wrap, and it was fantastic! The freshness of the vegetables was clear, and the wrap was served piping hot. I inquired about whether there were discounts for school district employees, but unfortunately, there aren't any. However, since I asked, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a dollar off my purchase. It’s always worth asking! I look forward to returning to try more of their menu options, as they offer healthy and reasonably priced choices.
Great spot in Mo City. Not too far from the office so nice to get something different. Had a gyro and shared the hummus both solid. Service was friendly and fast as well.
I have ate here before a few times, and I've always felt the food was ok, nothing outstanding but filling and decent. It's not the first thing I think of for lunch, but it's something along the middle of the list. I always get the chicken kabob here, and they would let me substitute the salad with the hummus, so that is nice. The tzatziki sauce that comes with the chicken kabob makes the kabob tasty tasty! For about $13-$14, the chicken kabob plate (with hummus) makes for a good lunch meal but somewhat pricey. It's a nice, spacious restaurant that has two sides so if you don't like one section, there is the other section. It's never hard to find a seat whenever I was there. The only complaint is that one time I came before, and the chicken kabobs were really burnt and hard to chew. That time was on a weekend with two or three customers early morning. Anyhow, despite that, I would definitely come back sometime in the future again for lunch.
