I had the noodle bowl, which was a generous serving of stir-fried noodles with chicken and fresh vegetables. Handheld options aren’t really my thing, so I appreciated that the bistro provided alternatives to just sandwiches and paninis. My partner enjoyed the Szechuan lettuce wraps, although we both felt they could have used a bit less ginger in the filling. The coffee was quite good (according to my partner), and while the breakfast hash was on the smaller side, it was still tasty. There was ample parking when we arrived, though a sign indicated that priority is for resort and restaurant guests. I wonder if the lot fills up when the restaurant next to the resort opens for dinner. As a side note, having seen how lovely the resort is, we are considering staying here on our next visit to the Okanagan!
The service here is incredibly friendly, and the snacks and coffee are quite enjoyable. Located next to the lobby at the Summerland Waterfront Resort, the Waterfront Bistro is an excellent place to pick up meals and snacks to take with you. The menu features hot breakfasts, light lunches, soups, sandwiches, wraps, muffins, and cookies, along with a selection of specialty teas, coffee, and smoothies. Plus, they offer ice cream as well!
We stopped in the lobby for a quick bite to eat on our way to Oliver. The restaurant has a variety of hot meals, including paninis, salads, and bowls, as well as coffee, tea, and pastries. They also serve breakfast items in the afternoon and offer cheese plates. I chose the noodle dish with chicken and vegetables, which came in a generous portion. My companion had the Szechuan salad, and while we both enjoyed it, we agreed it was a bit heavy on the ginger. The coffee was excellent, and the breakfast hash tasted great, although it was a bit on the smaller side. Parking was easy to find, but there are signs that prioritize guests of the resort and restaurant. We might consider staying at the beautiful resort next time we visit the Okanagan.
We visited this restaurant in the lobby on our way to Oliver for a quick, light meal. They have a limited selection of hot dishes.
