Contribuisci feedbackOoohhhMyGoodness where do I begin. The FOOD...the flavors were so well balanced it was insane! The SERVICE was OUTSTANDING...the cook was very kind. The ATMOSPHERE was very clean and inviting. I really like the simplicity of the decor. The colors went together well and the decor was simple yet VERRRRRY nice...just my style. If I could change anything it would be that you could dine in; however, they are still a work in progress. They are working on an outdoor dining area. the fried plantains OoohhhMyGoodness a must have!I am excited to return with our family.
First time trying African food, got the egusi and fufu and it was soooooo good! The jollof rice was also delicious and the goat meat was very flavorful and tender. I enjoyed every bite and will definitely be coming back!
Honestly my first time having African food and it AMAZING! Me and my little sister split the Egusi and Fufu and Jollof Rice with chicken and goat meat. Freaking amazing! We already planning another hang out day to take that drive for some GOOD food???

This is a long overdue review for the excellent service and food Sessyk 's provided for a Catered Wedding. My, then, fiancé and I had been trying to find reputable West African catering in the Savannah GA area for our culturally mixed wedding, but with no luck we expanded our search to the Charleston SC area and stumbled upon Sessyks. We reached out and started an inquiry about catering and received prompt responses and information. The whole process from there on out was an absolute breeze, even though we were coordinating virtually across different states. Kevin and Sessy were the epitome of professionals throughout the whole process, and they were also gracious enough to host us at a very warmly personalized in person tasting event for the entire family in Summerville to finalize the menu selections. What we appreciated the most was their patience in dealing with the parents and their specific requests for menu items and changes, even when some of those requests were being made very late towards the day of the event. In addition, while the original agreement was only for a drop off service for the wedding (i.e. we would have our own separate servers , the team graciously offered to stay throughout the event to assist in making sure things went smoothly for no extra charge. It was honestly great having them at the wedding, as they were instrumental in making sure the bride and groom (myself and now wife got a chance to eat some of the delicious food throughout the busy day.The food itself was absolutely on point, as all our guests noted. From the basic staples like Jollof Rice, Beef Suya (my personal favorite Puff-Puff and fried Plantains, to the more specialty dishes like pounded yam, egusi stew and Moi-moi, there wasn 't a single dish that wasn 't a hit with our guests, and, we knew this going into the event from our experience at the tasting. They even worked to ensure myself and my wife got a chance to enjoy the delicious food in our few moments of respite from all the reception reception activities (dances, visiting tables and thanking guests, photos etc. including saving some delicious suya for me before it ran out.For how great everything was, I 'm embarrassed to only realize that we never submitted a review for such outstanding service, but it 's better late than never. All in all, we can 't say enough how much we appreciate the service, and we fully recommend SessyK 's to anyone looking for quality Nigerian/ West African food and/or Catering in the SC/GA coastal region! 10/10, 5 stars without a doubt!!
