Palmetto Flats Tavern - Summerville

For the Oktoberfestmahlzeit and unfortunately was not what I prevented. For the first time I was disappointed in a long time in the meal. I understand the service and its difficulty, but there seemed a lot of staff there and we had to wait for food and drink. I think the other food on her menu is her claim to fame instead of that.

Our first time here and we enjoyed the experience. It is a beautiful, casual environment with plenty of seating inside and outside, with a spacious bar area and a small stage for musical performance. We tried one of the flatbreads... I had the Mediterranean appetizer (which was definitely great enough for a meal), and my wife had the daily special. Both were very good. The only problem was the timing, as it took a while to get our food after the order, although it was not too busy.

No pictures because we are right in, but the food is certainly worth picture and tastes as good as it looks. You had live music on the right band. The staff was friendly and attentive. Many options so that we go back and over to try them all! If you are looking for really good food in a place that is not a chain, that is the one for you! You'd almost miss it from outside, but trust me, you don't want to! Let room for dessert because the desserts are as good as the ducks!

The chicken Pesto Flatbread was very good. The staff of the bar were friendly and attentive.

Tiffany was our server and she is very knowledgeable about the cuisine and the restaurant history. She navigated is through the menu and our dishes were delicious! I will be back.
