This location is typically crowded and bustling. The drive-thru can get quite long, often extending into the parking lot of the ale house. They've also altered the interior, resulting in limited seating options.
Alright, South Carolina, let’s get it together. I walked in and placed my order, only to be told there would be a 30-minute wait for coffee. Seriously? Why is that the case? If you can’t handle it, maybe it’s time to stop taking mobile orders and focus on the customers who are right in front of you, especially those looking for a nice cup of coffee before hitting the road. Nobody wants to wait half an hour for coffee. We did wait, and I have to admit the coffee was delicious. The cashier seemed really overwhelmed and stressed. Meg was polite but clearly tense.
Usually I go to Starbucks on Main St but since it's closed I decided to try one in Nexton. I went to drive thru, there were a few cars ahead of me . It took forever . Service was extremely slow. I ordered hot Chestnut Praline Latte. The taste was a little more watery from what I remembered. It was missing Chestnut Praline toppings and whipped cream. I just got a regular latte with a little syrup in it . I'm extremely disappointed.
Although the staff was nice, the wait time was long due to my coffee having the wrong ingredients. Not only that, there is far too much milk in the drink. I don't complain after one incident. That means there have been SEVERAL at this location. Also, leadership should show more concern about mistakes. After all, this is not a $2 cup of coffee! I got out of line at Bigby Coffee to go to Starbuck's, only to be disappointed today. The highlight, however, was the kind young lady whom prepared my coffee.
