Church's Chicken - Sumter

I love the ambiance and the food at this restaurant in general, but last time I visited, I waited in line for 30 minutes and no one took my order. There were no cars ahead of me waiting for their food, yet I still waited. When I finally reached the counter to place my order, I was told they only had a few items left and they were closing in 10 minutes. It was not even 8 o'clock yet and they could have communicated their limited food availability earlier. This lack of communication was rude, and the only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because the food is good. Otherwise, it would be just 1 star.

I'm coming home to visit a lot. this “him” place had not the 2 of 3 times I tried to pick up some in the last month. I don't know if they can't get it from supply chain problems or whether the workers don't know how to cook huh. I do not recommend this place if they actually want fried chicken. and then the workers there have the boldness to have a posture when asked. Too bad.

This place refuses to honour any Doordash orders. the worst part is that the inner is not open, so they have to wait in their drive-dru line that I could add is extremely slow. as soon as they order and say they are doordash, they act as if they were invisible. the support of türdash called her and hanged her up. very rude staff, and it is a scandal, as this is the only church in the city.

I am a great fan of church’s chicken, and I was excited to find one near our hotel, but that was my first disappointment with them. the hell was embarrassing. it had zero salt and very little taste. on the plus side it was fresh, the Mac'n cheese was good, and this honeybiscuit was heavenly. but come on, young to fall the ball with the chicken! white meat chicken without salt is something they serve for trapped hospital patients. the schlagstock was almost okay, but the rest can also be cooked!

It has been a while since I last had Church's Chicken. Unfortunately, my recent experience was not as enjoyable as I remembered. The chicken tenders I ordered were undercooked. I think I'll be sticking to Popeyes from now on. On a positive note, the employees at Church's did keep the drive-thru line moving efficiently.
