Was in my hometown of Sumter, S.C., and took lunch with my good friend Tommie Ardis. Had the smoother porkchops, yams, cabbage, and cornbread. Washed it down with some ice-cold tea. Love the home feeling, a little small but homely. The food was good, yet yams weren't as sweet as I would like. Other than that, the service was great, but they need to get rid of that Navy guy. Lol! Will definitely return.

I absolutely love this restaurant and make it a point to visit every time I'm home. The service and staff are excellent, and the food is the epitome of comforting home-cooked meals. If you leave here feeling hungry, it’s really your own fault! Food: 5/5
