The food was delicious because the wings were dry. Atmosphere was incredible and the lady who was at the kids area was fantastic. The service was good BUT... On 9 September 2024 We came there around to 8pm it was 5 adults and a baby, we ordered (if not mistaken) 2x eisbeins with extra wings, lamb chops with chips, ribs n wings, steak n wings, chicken strips and chips for the baby and a few drinks. The bill was close to R2000... When the waiter brought the bill i wrote down my loyalty number on the slip as they were closing and told him to load my points. I kept checking the app to see if it was loaded nothing. I thought it's technicality.On Friday it's my sons birthday and we wanted to bring him there again as he enjoyed playing in the area hence I'm reminded to check my points only to find they are still not loaded. So i need to know whom do i get InTouch with when such happens, i was a first time customer at your restaurant that night and i enjoyed everything only to be done dirty after i leave. Kid friendliness: The area is clean and my son loved it even the person who was playing with them she had incredible patience

I had the Chicken Schnitzel, and looking at the previous reviews, based on my experience it seemed like Spur listened and upped their game. It was a proper Spur Cheddamelt Schnitzel. The atmosphere was great. Even though the restaurant (and resort) was quiet, our waiter was attentive and helpful. There was a baby in our group and he kindly got us boiling water to make the baby's food. The Castle lite draft beer though did taste weird, a bit watered down (didn't know it could taste like that). But that didn't really spoil my experience. (date visited:28/08/2024)
