Oya Japanese Restaurant - SUN PEAKS

This is an authentic Japanese restaurant that is a short walk from the exit point of the main lifts to the village. the owner is friendly and the service is fast. so they can ski again! the whole food was well presented and. the food is of high quality and fresh to no alcohol.

I ordered take-out at this restaurant. I waited at the bar and the owner promptly asked for my order. However, after being seated, I waited for my meal for a while without even being offered water. The staff seemed more focused on fulfilling take-out orders rather than attending to me. There were only two sushi chefs working. I ordered a spicy seafood noodle dish, but it lacked flavor. I decided not to complain and paid in cash without leaving a tip.

We didn't know what to expect, considering that we were in a country house, but we were very pleasantly surprised. the owner was very friendly and the food was really good. the fish was very fresh. we will definitely be back at our next visit to sun peaks.

This little restaurant has massive charm. the quality of eating is excellent and the staff is friendly and dedicated. we never let ourselves feel disappointed. this is a safe firefighter restaurant

During our stay at a condo in Sun Peaks, we decided to order a large amount of sushi for adults one night. We were extremely disappointed with the portion sizes, which were laughably small. As sushi lovers, we felt that the pricing was a complete ripoff targeted at resort vacationers. The prices were exorbitant, even for a sushi restaurant. The Ikura Roll was particularly pricey for the small size of the rolls, and the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi were disappointingly thin. While the taste was decent, we will not be ordering from OYA Sushi at Sun Peaks again. As a sushi enthusiast, I recommend spending your money on a better dining option for lunch or dinner.
