Lodge Dining Room - Sun Valley

The Sun Valley Lodge Dining Room closed last summer. The hotel is being totally renovated and upgraded, and should be five stars, but the Lodge Dining Room will be part of the new spa. See Konditorei, Ram, and Sun Valley golf Clubhouse, or many restaurants in Ketchum or Hailey.

Our second time here. Food is good but the staff is great. We came in before they were going to lunch menu. We had already had breakfast and did not want a second one. The staff had already fixed my wife a special coffee. We left to find a lunch menu place and offered to pay for coffee. Waitress said not to worry.. They will definitely get us to return...

I'm sad to report that the Lodge Dining Room is no more. It's been torn down in the major remodel of the Lodge and will not be rebuilt. It is also a victim of the times in that the formal resort dining of yesteryear in America is leaving us. Good memories.
