Amalfi - Sunderland

Amazing food with great staff in a really nice atmosphere 10/10, I've had almost everything on the menu and it's all been delicious, the steaks are especially good, perfectly cooked with fantastic sauces.

Absolute saviours! We pulled in after a long drive up from London. April and the crew were so kind they even managed to feed us a most delicious bolognaise after hours and chef came up to say hello and serve their delicious cheese cake. Keep us going all the way up to the highlands!!! Hugely grateful and have a wonderful Christmas!! Mark and family

After visiting Amalfi restaurant over several years, my mam kept asking why do you travel that far for “a meal” we’ll in august we went to the costa for a cheeky holiday and took the mother with us, so we decided to stay over night at the airport and call into Amalfi on the way for our evening meal. Needless to say all my mother talked about on the way to the airport was how nice the meal was and how nice the restaurant was and now she realises why we travel such a distance to get not just great food but excellent food and service. This is a total hidden gem and i challenge anybody to visit and find a fault. We are already booked for my mother’s birthday next month.

What can I say! The food is amazing the ambience and atmosphere is second to non! Staff are wonderful, the place is immaculate and did I say the food is just amazing! Highly recommend will be back for more.

Attended a baby shower over the bank holiday weekend and the venue was decorated gorgeous. The staff were lovely and attentive and coped incredibly well with how busy it was, they went above and beyond for everyone attending.The food was absolutely gorgeous with a variety of choices for all, we will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this family friendly restaurant to all. 10/10 for everything.
