Despite their pleasant demeanor, I couldn't justify giving them only 1 star. The carrot cake was terrible, according to my fiancé. Only visit if you have a spare half hour to wait in line.
I stopped by for a quick snack with my son. The staff were very friendly, especially the lady who served us. She made an effort to engage with my son and ask him questions. It was nice that she remembered the names of regular customers. I was a bit disappointed with my toastie as it had too much cheese for my liking. However, this could just be a personal preference. I couldn't finish it. The packed lunch was good, but it was missing a yogurt. Overall, I would return to this restaurant.
Lovely coffee and scone after a walk around the country park
Dog friendly, lovely service and good range of refreshments. Right next to the park with plenty of seating, direct access to the park and water bowls for furry family. Toilets nearby with easy parking access too. Lots to do with or without kids and dogs.
Fantastic little place to lunch. positionally, it is a bit overshawd by penshaw farm, but is absolutely worth a trip to his own merit! it was made to really feel welcome by the incredibly friendly staff. in any case the breakfast in a bungalow is too good not to try again. try it out!
