Goa Exemplary Indian Cuisine

New to the area have tried a few different Indian takeaways. Goa was by far the best out of the 6 or 7 in the area. Excellent service and a great authentic taste. The texture of the curries was spot on and the meat was flavoursome and well cooked. Would highly recommend.

Average food for an expensive price. Better places to go for less money. Starter came and was a nice start then the main was a let down. Think they for got to put spice in my curry and chicken was a little tough. Customer service was not the greatest. Got served after people that arrived after us and had to keep asking for drinks.

Stopped in Sunderland for a night, popped in for our evening meal, Service was amazingly fast and the food was good. Really good value for money as well.

We eat in lots of Indian restaurants on our holidays and this was one of the best we have found. The food was excellent. We decided to try the Korai, as it was new to us and we were impressed. Service was friendly and there was a very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant busy without being overfull and background music at a level that allowed conversation and added to the ambiance. If you arrive before 7. p.m., the 'early bird ' set menu is excellent value. A bit strange that no restaurants in this area came up on a Tripadvisor search of 'restaurants near you ', even though our hotel was only 100 yards away. Glad we found the place on Google!

Excellent sea front restaurant. Great food and service. Friendly atmosphere. Child friendly. Great prices. Not rushed at all.
